Hi there, lately I've been working on a hidden objects kinda project, is in very very very veeery early development, but basically the game is about a detective that lives in San Barlow (something like San Francisco) in 1925, the detective have a strange case in Nueva Givendale (New Givendale and kinda like New York) about a very horrific murder and here began this very dark case that leads to some cult, and we will have to find the truth behind it.
So here I'll show you some screenshots of the little progress made, in one screenshoot you can see a person with other heads, that's for reference about the characters in game how they will look and the size, in other screen you can see part of the first sequence of the intro, that buildings and the sky behind, of course I need to complete it but that's how the story will begin.
Soon I'll be updating the post with some things I'm making like songs for the game and sound effects, hope you like it!
Here some little updates on the project, I've been working on finish the reference model so I can make some test in the cult clothing and the result is very good, later started drawing a hallway that will be part of some cinematic and some gameplay but it will be modified when the player is there, but for now it need more details to finish it.
Also made the title of the game that will be on the menu, and a little text for the name of the "development production" but it's just because I don't wanna put my name on it.
So here some images for you, the reference model with a suit and the cult cloth with mask, and the "Fracture" logo and the project logo too. Later I'll be posting some music as I said before, finishing some details now to upload it later. Hope you like it!
Hi facujk101, I have a city I got many years ago form Googles 3D Warehouse called Rocane link below. It is 1 of 3 Rocanes all of different times 1920 1940 and 1960. I converted Rocane 1940 to suit 3D RAD.
I know how long it takes to develop you own stuff when all you want to do is to get some game play going.
Hey today I bring a little test project so you can check how I'll be making the scenes, you can toggle bloom, shadows and details by pressing 1, 2 and 3 keys to see how the scene is build with some details like dust particles.
Hi! Today I wanna show some progress made on the project after some weeks where I wasn't working on it, but now it's the moment to do it again so, I wanna show you a little video of the intro, it's pretty basic but it works as a canvas to know how it will be. Also I'll upload some images of the rework of the background I've shown before but now it's done with another method in photoshop so it's a little bit easier to paint, hope you like it!
wow @facujk101 your art-style is gorgeous! Its got a painted look to it. I love the rail yard scene! tell me, are those 3d models with some special shader? Or are these actually painted backgrounds? I have always enjoyed how much effort you put into your levels, like back when you made that runner project, and the multiplayer shooter before it.
Thank you so much hawk! In fact everything is a painted background, so in 3DRad is merged as a Sprite and I use it to render as background, so the bloom shader on the camera do the job, it really helps in some scenes like for example the hallway that I posted some time ago. Again thank you so much for those words really apreciate it!! Soon I'll be posting some updates and ideas.
Hello again! Came back to show a little bit of progress again. Here you can see how the intro has been changing in some details, for example skies now blend better on the scene for example, I know it's not too much progress but wasn't working on the project until today again, anyway, also I'll post a image from another cinematic but for now there is no video of that. And last but not least some music from the game too, a little piece of music and sound effects from the scene of the dark image of the city (better with headphones). Hope you like it!
PD: Video of the intro in the rar file, music will be in other time because can't upload audio files, sorry
