Some news about the engine?

Hi there, I was wondering if is some new advances in the engine in the way of new functions or new tools to use it, because this maybe look like a random question, but since almost a year I stop using the engine because I started to feel it like obsolete in pair of other engines and new tools to develop games, at this point the engine was crashing and having errors out of nowhere, this move take me so much time until with a lot of sadness (because I've been using 3dRad for like now 11 years, and still a noob haha) I moved on to unity, later to Godot, and so on.

Everytime I was having the same trouble, don't know how to program in a language, don't know how a lot of things work and the tutorials doesn't go the direction I need, so always is a struggle and always is difficult to me to make a game and the documentation is in english (my native language is spanish) and I can't fully understand how to make progress on develop on other engines.

I'm writing this because I fell like 3DRad is like that toy we have in our childhood that bring us good memories and nostalgia, and after a year of struggle, doubts and try to find a way to develop something in other engines, I'm trying to comeback to this engine, but also I know that it don't have updates since forever, and for example with new operative systems it's kinda problematic and even for steam maybe, and for some multiplayer games with old days interface for connecting in a match, I love this engine because the level of simplicity and the learning curve, it helped me a lot in all this years.

So please if you can help me with some updates or notices about the engine or some new things happening around the forum it will be awesome, sorry if this is very strange or emotional (I'm a little bit old haha) but I don't wanna leave such an amazing engine like this after all this time. Thanks for reading!

The latest / last version of 3drad is v7.22.

Both 3drad and 3impact have stopped development a couple years ago.

if you're serious about game development, stick with one of the other engines you mentioned.. 3drad is buggy and i don't recommend it to anybody....

It is fun to play with, i still "attempt" to complete projects.. but its hard to do when 3drad sticks it's fingers in the gears all the time.

If you insist on using 3drad, keep it very simple, and test the hell out of your projects .

EDIT:
I posted recently about a script i wrote that went corrupt.. i played with it some more and move a chunk of code hiher up in the script.. now the project is working again.

I'm still at a loss as to what difference that has made, but it started working..

About the only thing i didnt try is putting that "chunk" back where it was and see if the script fails again... just for testing purposes .......

Another EDIT:

Yup just tried that, moved that chunk of script back where it was and the script fails yet again...... I'm at a loss...

Thank you for the response, and I hope you can find the solution of your problem because that's what happened the last time I used it, moving things and checking scripts but it crashed anyway, so if I can make something out of it I'll be posting it at some moment, and wish you the best of lucks with the scripts hope you solve it!
