I haven't heard anything about Ludum Dare here... Do you guys not take part in these jams? In my case without the deadlines i can't discipline myself to make games
. and its a good place to get feedback as well otherwise people wont play your games.

Here's My submission if you want to check it out!

Interesting game! Poor chickens tho, took me 20 seconds to die on my first try. Solid game in 48 hours! Wonder why the forum is so empty lately...maybe we should have some sort of competition thing again, but as of what happened with the Voxel competition last time (Unfair voting probably, ONLY 2 PEOPLE, and then it later being tagged as unofficial, which felt pretty bad), I dont think competitions would work here
And no, I dont take part in Jams, because Im not too confident with my code, and I never finish anything really...

@doomer022 I only do hard surface modelling (I've taken C++ classes but never attempted making a game for real), be proud of yourself xD

@dedted I mean, yeah, sure, I have some pretty good projects and ideas, that's true
But the thing that my last finished game was a small Scratch game, it kind of feels weird, considering how much more power and creativity Unity gives...

But no worries! A new project is on the horizon, one is a story-driven sci-fi FPS, mostly based on the universe of Half-Life, set on the North pole, in a research facility, where things go very very wrong! The other one? Well, let's just say it a reprise...

@doomer022 yeah i used to think that before but after taking part in many jams i think its better to dedicate yourself for 2 days and make a decent game rather than starting a billion different projects that you will never complete. I'd say give it shot... It really teaches you a thing or to about the final and middle stages of development rather than just the prototyping phase.
