so, im failing to understand why the events on location are giving me problems the one first screenshot straight up doesnt work, the second one works like half of the time i also have a third and a fourth one with attached a exit fade and a text print respectively but those two work perfectly they're all sphere shaped but i doubt that has any influnce because i tried chaning it and it doesnt work changing shape seems to solve the problem sometimes but only if they're small to the point where i can't use them anymore
Showing us the properties doesn't really help.. they look fine settings wise.
What you really need to do is explain more about whats not working in more detail.
When EOL objects are used, the trigger points are the center of the object entering the EOL shape.
If you need the bumper of a vehicle to be the trigger point when entering the EOL bounds, thats what the offsets are for, to setup specific points to trigger the EOL when entering it's collsion shape, instead of the default center point of the object being checked.
If this still doesn't help you... you'll need to share the project or even a video of whats not working so we can better understand the problem.
@TinSoldier i was trying to upload a video but its been giving me an error twice and my internet is very slow right now, so sorry but the best i can give is a quick rundown >car fully enters EOL1 (it covers a huge area so its not a question wether or not its actually inside) >AIs are triggered, but only sometimes, and i cant figure out the reason >car fully enters EOL2 (again, its a big area and if offets arent relevant to the discussion i have no clue) >Text isnt triggered (except for when i make the area very small >i put another smaller EOL inside EOL2, which activates an Exitfade and it works when triggered
hope this can clear any detail
EDIT: i think i may have figured out something, when i go into the exit fade backwards EOL that doesnt work either, i guess it really does have something to do with the offset after all
@buska Your explaination doesn't actually help anymore ... I honestly think something is wrong with the setup, not directly with the EOL objects..
One of those silly things that you overlook and blame the EOL because it's involved.
I'm fairly sure your problem is a simple one.
PS to share a video, its best to use dropbox or YT or some other online storage then share the link only... uploading here requires it to be small and possibly in a zipped archive.. powersupersport has limits on upload size's and formats and even embedding may not work.
Ideally sharing the project or a piece of it where the EOL is involved mite be the better way to go.. as said, its probably a small simple thing you're over looking or assuming should work a certain way but doesn't... we all have been there and can't believe we didn't see that...
