Hey there. I modeled a human base, rigged it and etc, but stumbled on a little problem: Armor. The thing is that should the arm bone, for example, be rotated, the piece of armor goes straight into the "human" mesh. The screenshots show it. So, has anyone ever dealt with armor before? If so, can you tell me how to armor a character, without the armor... you know... amputating a limb? I had ideas for Shape Keys, or separate bones for the armor, but I wanted to hear your opinions first. Thanks in advance. Cheers
Maybe a lock rotation or a constraint of some sort. The piece of armor should be parented to the arm bone, I think and then you should modify it's properties. I haven't played with it but when I do I'll make sure to let you know.
