So recently I've begun to notice that the screen of my netbook is starting to make odd bits of static. A few little white dots flicker over the screen. It's never constant; though, it occurs often. I'm worried about the condition of my screen, but I haven't tampered with the screen. It possibly has to do with the age of the computer. (The Dell Latitude was released in 2010, and uses somewhat cheaply manufactured parts.) Is this something that I should be worried about, and how should I fix it?
I had a HP laptop that i got rid of due to screen interference if you can call it that.. also tried a fix i found on the internet.. didn't work and required me to dismantle the laptop..
I would plan to get rid of it... or take it to a repair place and get an estimate to repair.
PS my issue started when the "interference" showed up once in a while, a reboot usually fixed it, till 6 months later the "interference" showed up and became permanent and was so bad, i couldn't see 3/4 of the screen.
On a good note, the laptop still booted up.. just couldn't see the screen.. also the external screen connector showed the same problem, proving it was a graphic chip or motherboard problem, not just the connector or cable.
